Fees & Billing

How our fixed fees work for foundations

For DIFC, RAK ICC and ADGM foundations, our fees are generally fixed.

If it is clear during the initial discussion that a lower level of administration or legal time is required, we may reduce the fixed fee accordingly. Examples include:

  • A foundation holding a holding company that holds a single property
  • A foundation holding an investment portfolio

Administration time units

Our fixed fee includes a set number of administration time units (6 minutes each). These units are designed to be sufficient for the agreed scope of work.

When additional time may be needed

If the scope of work varies considerably, additional time may be required. If that happens, we will advise you when the included time is exhausted or close to being exhausted, and discuss a top-up.

Most basic structures do not require a top-up when the client is clear and forthcoming about expectations and intended activity.

Reviews and top-ups

We typically review administration time at the beginning of the period (December) and again mid-way through the term (July).

At review points, fees may be charged:

  • For any outstanding units used beyond the included units (if any)
  • For an estimated number of units to cover expected time until the end of the period
